Annual Meeting of Teachers' Ass'n

The nineteenth annual meeting of the Harvard Teachers' Association will be held today. There will be two sessions, one in the morning at 9.45 in the New Lecture Hall, and one in the afternoon after the annual dinner which will be served in the Union at 1 o'clock. At the morning session Mr. W. R. Marsh '89, headmaster of St. Paul's School, Garden City, Long Island; Mr. W. W. Orr '96, principal of the Central High School, Springfield, Mass.; and Dr. David Snedden, State Commissioner of Education for Massachusetts, will speak on "The Achievements and Shortcomings of the American College." This will be followed by an abstract from the report of the Committee on Educational Progress, by J. E. Downey, the chairman. J. McK. Cattell, professor at Columbia University, and G. R. Hill, president of the University of Missouri will discuss the same subject after dinner. The morning session only will be open to the public.
