The Can Openers defeated the Fathers by the score of 15 to 14 in the Leiter Cup league game played on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. As neither team reported for the game scheduled between the Bush Leaguers and the Baby Dolls, the game was forfeited and each team is scored with a defeat.
The following games will be played this afternoon at 4 o'clock: Nine Muses vs. Can Openers on the diamond behind the bleachers, and Limes vs. Mugwumps on the football field diamond.
