Account of Yesterday's Races.

In the first division of yesterday's bumping races, the first three crews maintained their relative positions almost without change. At the second turn Randolph nearly caught Claverly, but was unable to hold the gain and soon dropped back to its former position. Thayer drew up steadily on Beck-Hampden-Fairfax and caught them shortly after they passed the first turn.

Within almost a hundred yards of the start, in the second division, Dunster-Dana-Drayton caught Perkins, which had been blown near the shore and got a bad start. At the second bend Westmorly almost caught Ware, but, like Randolph, were unable to continue gaining.
