HARVARD, 33, ANDOVER, 5

Basketball Team Won Easy Game Last Night.--Defense and Offense Improved.

The University basketball team defeated Andover in the Gymnasium last night in a one-sided game by the score of 33 to 5. At no time was Andover able to break away from the University team's defense; and Harvard's offense, which was a decided improvement over last week's, found no difficulty in scoring. Andover's only goal from the floor was made by Thompson early in the first half. The University team played well throughout, especially in covering their opponents. Amberg and Brooks played hard and fast, and were very accurate in shooting.

The first half was a succession of goals from the floor by Harvard with an occasional foul. The half ended with the score 15 to 4. Several substitutes were used in the second period but there was no let-up in the scoring. Towards the end of the game weight began to tell against Andover, and the play grew less spirited.
