The University baseball nine will play Bowdoin at 4 o'clock this afternoon on Soldiers Field.

The Bowdoin team is not particularly strong this year and in its play, has shown listlessness and slowness. The team was defeated by Williams, 7 to 2, by Holy Cross, 10 to 1, by Bates, 6 to 0, by Dartmouth, 6 to 0, by Maine, 5 to 4. It won from Maine, 3 to 0, and from Colby, 6 to 0.

Last year the University team defeated Bowdoin 7 to 3. Coburn will pitch this afternoon.
