Special Notice.

MANY friends will greet you today with a happy new year. I, too, will extend my greeting by wishing you a very successful and happy new year, and at the same time thank you for your liberal patronage in the past two years that I have been making a specialty of hair cutting at 7 Brattle street, Harvard square. No doubt you have noticed the steady increase in my business in the past year, and you must also have observed how I have from time to time enlarged and improved my place, both for my own convenience and the comfort of my patrons, until today I have a place fitted up for haircutting second to none in this city. Employing six men, who, according to my judgement, for real scientific haircutting, can not be surpassed. Let me in conclusion invite your patronage for the coming year. We will cut and trim your hair so that it will always look well. Haircutting is our business; we have lots of time, patience and judgment, that can only be acquired by years of practical experience. Razors of all kinds repaired and carefully honed. Respectfully,

C. W. GRIFFITHS, 7 Brattle St., Harvard Square.TYPEWRITING, Weaver 44 College House.
