Last evening, the Harvard Shakespeare Club held its first annual dinner. The following officers were elected: G. T. Morse '98, president; R. Wolcott Jr., '99, secretary; S. Robinson '98, librarian.

Last evening, in the lecture room of the Fogg Art Museum, Prof. Walker, of Hartford, Conn., gave a lecture on "The Validity of the Ordination of Ministers and Pastors of the New England Churches."

The Yale Football Association held a punting contest Monday, in which there were eighteen contestants. The following men won the prizes: 1, G. S. Chauncey '98; 2, M. L. McBride 1900; 3, T. E. Franklin 1900.

In a three-mile race held last week between five Cornell crews, three 'varsity and two freshman boats, the second 'varsity crew won. This was substantiallp the same crew that went to Annapolis, and has had the advantage of training with a settled make-up for some time.
