Shooting Club.

The second shoot of the season took place yesterday afternoon. Owing to the bad light and the lack of practice the scores were very poor, not more than forty per cent. of the birds being broken. Two of the M. I. T. Gun Club men were present to inspect the grounds, as they are to practice there on Saturdays during the coming term.

It is hoped that more men will come out next Monday to compete for the Founders' cup. This cup will become the property of the contestant who wins it five times. It has been shot for three times every season, but since the founding of the club in 1883 it has never yet been won.
