Harvard Rifles.

The squads of the Harvard Rifles will drill together today and the company and platoon movements will be tried with the full quota of men. The hall in which the Rifles are now drilling is too small for the evolutions to be carried out very conveniently, and Lieutenant Robinson intends in a very few days, if the good weather continues, to get the men into the open air. They will probably drill on either Soldiers' Field or Longfellow Park on Brattle street. The outlook for the company is on the whole very promising. Much improvement is necessary however as there is only about sixteen afternoons left in which to practice before the competitive drill with the Technology Battallion which is to take place on Saturday, May 11. The drill will be held in the South Armory on Irvington street, and the companies are to be drilled by their own cadet officers.
