It is to be hoped that the officers and other members of Ninety-five will see to it that there is tonight no repetition of the farcial proceedings which characterized the preliminary meeting of the senior class last year. The few men who were present at the time appointed for the meeting decided it was not advisable to transact any business and adjourned. Later a few more straggled in and after re-electing the class officers, appointed a committee to take charge of the Class Day elections. But this meeting could not be regarded as representative and it was found necessary to call another meeting the next evening.

There is much hard work to be done before the elections in getting out the lists of men eligible to vote, dividing the class into sections and preparing ballots. As the preliminary meeting this year is somewhat later than usual there is no time to lose.
