The Worcester Athletic Club intends to have another handicap tournament on March 11. The club will enter in the Boston games the team which ran against the team of the Boston Athletic Association last Saturday, on condition that the Boston runners give a return race in Worcester March 11.
The will of the late James Howard provides that, after deducting numerous bequests to relatives, the residue of the estate is to accumulate until it shall reach $40,000, when $10,000 each is to be given Yale, Amherst, Dartmouth and the Minnesota State University, to found four scholarships, which are to bear the names, respectively, of Mr. Howard's father, mother and two brothers.
