We have spoken before of the complaints that men are taking books from the Evans Library; and a day or two ago we printed a list of the books which have disappeared. It has been naturally supposed that students are to account for these disappearances. The suggestion is made that outsiders make free with the books in the library. The Evans Library, we believe, is supposed to be locked; and the students who want to use it are furnished with keys. As a matter of fact, however, the library is open a large part of the time, and any one who wishes may enter. We suggest to the directors that they make an examination of this side of the question.
