It is not often that the college has a chance, at this time of the year, to attend a foot ball game. This afternoon, however, two elevens, as nearly matched as possible, will play a game that is sure to be interesting. This interest arises not solely from the contest itself; it arises from the fact that the college can see what material Captain Trafford has developed during the spring training. The wonderful revival in foot ball at Harvard began with Captain Cumnock's efforts. One of these was to develope men by spring practice. He succeeded well; and Captain Trafford has carried out the same plan. It may be that he has not developed any "stars" for the 'varsity team; but he has brought out excellent practice material, and, what is most important, has increased the interest in foot ball at Harvard and the number of men who play the game.

A word of hearty thanks is due to Captain Cumnock again, to Mr. Perry Trafford, to Mr. Finlay, to Mr. Lee, to Mr. Fearing, and to all the others who have been helping Captain Trafford in his work. We urge the college to turn out this afternoon and see the results which they have accomplished.
