College Regulations.

Copies of the Regulations were on distribution yesterday and will be so today in U. 2 between 1.30 and 2.30 p. m. to freshmen and other students in the first year of their residence. The principal changes from the edition of 1889 are as follows:

All notices and petitions from college students relating to matters with in the control of the faculty must be addressed to the dean of the college and must hereafter give with the name of the writer, his class and his address.

Applications for make-ups for the finals must hereafter be made before September 10 instead of September 20 and the examinations are to be held invariably during the first fortnight of the academic year.

Various minor changes in wording are made in consequence of the suppression of prescribed forensics in the senior class.

The duties of the assistant secretary are now transferred to the Recorder, a new official in name alone, since Mr. Montague Chamberlain has been appointed to the position.
