The first debate of the Harvard Union which will take place this evening ought to be a success. The subject for the meeting has been chosen with a view to interesting as many men as possible and it will doubtless draw out an exciting debate. The Union is one of the old Harvard institutions, it numbers among its members many of our most noted graduates, and is the only means offered at Cambridge for practice in public speaking.
