A new secret fraternity, Sigma Mu., has been established at Yale. The fraternity was founded at the Virginia Military Institute in 1869 and contains 28 chapters.

A football association has been formed recently at Columbia. It is the intention of the organization to raise from $800 to $1,000 and to put a football team in training.

The Princeton tug-of-war team will contest in an intercollegiate pull to be given March 23rd under the auspices of the Columbia team, at a fair which the juniors of the Columbia School of Mines will hold at that time.

The Dartmouth University ball team for this year will be made up as follows: Woodcock, Bachs and Vivian, pitchers and right-fielders; Ranney and Jones, catchers; Gault, first base; Norton, second base; Williams, short-stop; Abbott, third base; Holt, centre-field; Humphreys, left-field.
