In the Brown game on Friday last, a member of the Brown nine made himself particularly conspicuous on account of his very loud talk, endeavoring evidently to rattle the opposing nine. Some excuse was given at the time, that perhaps the gentleman was excited, or perhaps even "rattled," but we see no reason why in a game between the freshman nines of the same two colleges, this same university played should endeavor to coach the freshman nine. There is no rule prohibiting such action, but we think it shows decidedly bad taste.
