Owing to an accident at the printer's the Lampoon could not appear till today.

Keyes and Alexander have taken the place of Brooks and Rantoul in the freshman crew.

Mr. Huntington's lecture for Monday evening will be "Switzerland in the neighborhood of Monta Rosa."

Bryant, '84, and Keith, '85, are now rowing in the University boat in place of Storrow, '85, and Hamlin, '96.

It is hoped that as many students as possibly can will accompany the nine to Amherst today. The game is a very important one.

Wright and Ditson have published a pamphlet on base-ball by J. C. Morse, '80. It contains instructions in regard to the different curves, and will be found to contain much of interest to the lovers of the game.

The following games will be played by the inter-collegiate association this week: Monday, Harvard vs. Amherst, at Amherst; Wednesday, Amherst vs. Brown, at Providence; Saturday, Yale vs. Amherst, at Amherst, Harvard vs. Brown, at providence.

Leavitt and Peirce will receive a telegram from the manager of the Amherst nine giving the result of the Amherst-Harvard game, and the result will be posted on the bulletin board in front of Leavitt and Peirce's store

The following groups will be taken this week at pach's studio: Christian Brethren, Wednesday at 10; Beta Theta Pi, Wednesday at 11; Phi Beta Kappa, Thursday at 11; Philosophical club, Friday at 10; Delta Upsilon, Friday at 2.

The prizes in the races of the Yale Bicycle Club will be slid pennants, on which be inscribed in gold letters the event and the winner's name. The prize for the Yale-Harvard race will be a pennant, half of crimson, half of blue, silk.

The news of our victory over Yale was very enthusiastically received by the students who were about the yard Saturday night. Aportion of the Glee Club sang for an hour on the steps of Holworthy, and the explosion of cannon crackers, bonfires and cheering continued until quite late.

In the Columbia college athletic games held last Saturday, the half-mile run was won by E. S. Appleby, '84, in 2m. 8 1-2s.; the 220-yards dash, G. S. Harris, '87 24 2-5s.; putting the shot, C. E. Fitzgerald, '84, 34ft. 9 1-2 inches; running broad jump, O. Bodleren, 20ft. 2in.

The following men are entitled to deliver commencement parts. Of the candidates for the degree of A. B., Latin Oration, C. M. Walsh. English parts, G. A. Eliot, W. W. Fenn, E. H. Hibbard, E. H. Lounsbury, J. H. Mitchell. Of the candidates for the degree of A. M., Nelson; of the candidates for the degree of L. L. B., H. Melville, and of the candidates for the degree of B. D., A. T. Brooks.
