It is pleasing to notice from the corrected copy of the financial statement of the Co-operative Society that the affairs of the society are in so favorable a condition. The society's assets are $386.60. But the students should not be deceived by this showing. There is a great need of ready cash and more funds to carry it through till September. Most of the balance, as is stated, consists of stock, and debts contracted cannot be paid unless this is sold or new members come in. To do the best work the society must keep active. Over three hundred have joined again during the last month, but twice that number are needed.
