The call for transparencies is a timely one. The time which remains before the 30th is short, only a week. As yet diligent inquiry and advises from the general committee point to a great scarcity of designs and few intentions of carrying transparencies. We have said before this feature of the Harvard delegation has always added much to the worth of its turnout and we should be sorry to see it neglected in the coming parade. All are privileged to carry them, only provided that they come within the bounds of reason, and we hope that the call will not be neglected.
