A senior has written to us an able letter on the forensic question, which we publish this morning. In preparing our first editorial commending the new system, we did not fully consider what work it would be to prepare the required number of subjects for the final examination in that course. Indeed, the number from which the instructor was to choose one to be written on under the examination room had entirely escaped our notice. On being forcibly reminded by '85's letter that the number is six, we heartily agree with him in saying that it is altogether too great, three or four being an ample number on which to be prepared. Consequently, acting upon his suggestion, the CRIMSON will prepare a petition, to be placed in Bartlett's on Monday, to which all seniors and juniors who desire the change recommended can sign their names.
