A communication in our columns this morning seems to express a feeling that is shared to a greater or less degree by many of the members of the Dining Association. If there is a general feeling that Mr. Balch is incompetent as a manager of the hall, it is high time that some action were taken. The steward is removable by the corporation, and the board of directors have only the power to request such a removal. If a general dissatisfaction like that expressed by our correspondent exists, it is certainly time for the directors of the association to request the corporation to remove Mr. Balch, and we hope that such dissatisfaction will be expressed in this way rather than by a large number of the boarders leaving the hall, as was done last year.
