A modified expulsion bill has been passed by the French Senate.

Eight more sophomores have been ordered to leave Bowdoin College immediately on account of their connection with hazing. This makes twelve who have been obliged to leave within the past two weeks.

More evidence is accumulating against the parties arrested for the Phoenix Park tragedy, the sword blades which the informer, Kavanagh, testified to having seen thrown into the basin of the gas works having been found.
