OBITUARY.

WILLETT LOSEE TITUS,

Of the class of '79, died at De Lancey, New York, September 26, of cancerous affection of the liver.

Mr. Titus was formerly a member of the class of '80. He occupied a position during the last part of his college course which brought him in contact with students of all classes, and the strict integrity of his character was well known throughout the University. He was an able scholar, having done two years' work in one and passed from the Sophomore to the Senior class. He had laid well the foundation of a useful life.

At a meeting of the class of '80, the following resolutions were passed:-

CLIFFORD GARDNER.Whereas, during the past summer death has removed our former classmate, CLIFFORD GARDNER,

Resolved, that we, mindful of the strength and integrity of his character, deplore his decease, and tender our most hearty sympathy to his family and friends.

HICKY HUNT MORGAN.Whereas, a sad casualty during the vacation has taken from us our classmate, HICKY HUNT MORGAN, while in the full enjoyment of health and strength,

Resolved, that we deeply deplore the sudden death of our classmate and friend, and we will hold in remembrance his amiable disposition and manliness of character.

Resolved, that we desire to express to the family of the deceased our sincere sympathy in their bereavement.

Resolved, that these resolutions be published in the Boston Advertiser and in the College papers.

At a meeting of the class of '82, the following resolutions were made and passed:

HENRY SHIPPEN.Whereas, during the past summer we have lost our classmate, Henry Shippen,

Resolved, that we, deploring the death of one who when among us so fully entered into the interests of his class, here express our grief at his loss, and our sympathy with those who best knew and loved him.

Resolved, that these resolutions be published in the Boston Advertiser and the Crimson.
