WE hope that the amount and character of the news contained in this issue of the Crimson will fully justify the delay attending it. The great mass of interesting news which accumulates during Commencement Week does not reach the majority of the students; furthermore, the press reports of the regatta are often, because of their omissions, untrustworthy, and to know Harvard's side of the story one has to wait until the first issue of the college papers in the fall. The publication of the news contained in this issue leaves the Crimson free to present for the first number of the next volume an interesting paper.
