IN spite of the many difficulties it has had to contend against, the Art Club has taken a new departure which promises to be very successful and to add much interest to its meetings. Yesterday evening a meeting was held, at which a collection of pottery and old china was exhibited, besides a number of valuable books on art, illustrated by fine engravings, the loan of Professor Norton. Periodical meetings of the same kind are to be regularly held. All those who take the Art Electives, or who even have a vague taste for objects of Art, would do well to become associate members of the Club. The fee is only one dollar, and will be devoted to the Art Department of the College.
