SECOND BASEBALL TEAM TAKES ENCOUNTER 3 TO 1

Cambridge Latin is Nearly Shut Out by Gilmor's Pitching--Whole Team Plays Tight Game

The second University baseball team defeated the Cambridge Latin School in a well-played game yesterday afternoon by a 3 to 1 score on the Soldiers Field diamond.

Robert Gilmor '31 who pitched for Harvard, allowed only two hits and struck out twelve men. On the other hand he was liberal with his bases on balls which accounted for the visitors only tally when Ready reached first through a single to right field and was forced in by three successive passes.
