Softball Wins Series Against Brown, 2-1

This past weekend, the Harvard softball team (12-12, 3-5 EIVA) traveled to Providence, R.I. to play a three-game road series against Brown. The Crimson swept Saturday’s doubleheader, but then lost on Sunday, finishing the weekend 2-1. The successful trip improved the Crimson’s conference record as it attempted to defend its  2023 Ivy League title.

Softball Splits Double-Header With Dartmouth, 1-1

On Friday afternoon, the Harvard softball team (10-11, 1-4 EIVA) played at Soldiers Field for the first time this season in a double-header against Dartmouth. The Crimson won the first game, but the reigning Ivy League champs couldn’t keep the momentum going and fell to Dartmouth in the second game. The scheduled third game of the series was canceled due to inclement weather, and will now take place on Tuesday, April 9.

Harvard Softball to Play Brown After 4-2 Ivy Start to Season

Early in the Ivy League season, the Harvard softball team has an 11-9-1 overall record on the season paired with a 4-2 conference record. It has finished two Ivy series so far where it swept the University of Pennsylvania and went 1-2 against Brown, though losing both games only by one run.

Harvard Softball Out for Revenge, Ready to Reclaim Ivy League Title

After falling to Princeton in the 2022 Ivy League Softball Championship, the Crimson is ready to reclaim their lost title. The Harvard softball team was ranked second behind the Princeton Tigers in the 2023 Ivy League Preseason Poll, and this second place ranking may be the motivation the Crimson need to upset predictions and defeat the reigning champions.
