Students Join Walk For Choice, Protest For Abortion Rights
In Boston, over 1,400 protesters rallied with signs, starting from five locations and converging in Boston Common in front of the statehouse.

An amendment to the bill proposed by Mike Pence of Indiana would cut all of Planned Parenthood's federal funding, reducing the organization's budget by 40 percent. Walk for Choice participants hoped to underscore the notion that this budget does not only fund abortions, but also cervical cancer screenings and contraceptive visits.

Students Protest Cantor's Speech at IOP
House Majority Leader Eric I. Cantor (R-Va.) spoke at the Institute of Politics Thursday night concerning proposed cuts to the federal budget, causing students to protest spending cuts to the AmeriCorps program. Dozens of students gathered in JFK Park before Cantor's scheduled talk, and then demonstrated in and around the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum while Cantor was speaking and answering questions.
